Life Insurance Benefits

This memo introduces a new benefit offering to all employees.
The Home Office is introducing life insurance coverage as a new benefit to all full-time employees who work more than 1500 hours annually. The cost of these benefits will be entirely paid for by the company.
The benefit value will be equal to one year's base salary for the protected employee. For hourly employees this will be the equivalent of their hourly wage multiplied by 40 hours for 52 weeks. Field employees who work more than 1500 hours annually will automatically be covered after 90 days of employment. Seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible for this benefit. Full-time management, sales, and administrative class employees will be enrolled the month after being hired.
Starting in July 2022 employees will be able to select additional coverage for themselves, their spouse, and children. The cost of this coverage will be the responsibility of the employee. This additional coverage is completely voluntary. Additional information will be available from time to time under a separate memorandum.
Along with this Policy Memo an announcement has been included in Spanish and English. This announcement should be used to inform the employees of the details of this program. Sufficient time should be allowed to ensure all employees understand the program and the commitment that East Coast Facilities, Inc. is making to care for its employees.
Once we reach the time for the life insurance open enrolment additional information will be provided to each Director.

We are pleased to inform all employees of an additional benefit we are offering. We are adding life insurance as a benefit to all full-time employees. Employees will be automatically enrolled after 90 days of employment for Life Insurance Benefits in the amount of 1 time of their base yearly salary. For field employees that is the equivalent of their hourly rate for 40 hours over 52 weeks. Starting July 2022, employees will be able to purchase additional life insurance for themselves, and eligible dependents. Additional life insurance benefits are voluntary and entirely the responsibility of the employee. Automatically enrolled Life Insurance Coverage is offered to employees at no cost. We value all our employees and will continue to look for ways to care for them and their families.
